Customized Training Program
Traning Available:

  •  PA State Fire Academy Programs
  •  National Fire Academy Programs 
  •  Customized lesson Plans
Objectives:
  •  Assist Individual Fire Departments with developing In-Station Training Programs
  •  Allow Fire Department Officers to focus on other Administrative Duties
  •  Provide Professional Management of Training Schedule and Program Development
  •  Address the Personal Needs of the Individual Fire Department
  •  Accommodate and Balance any Conditional Needs of the Fire Department

How Does It Work?
  •  Fire Department Submits a Request
      (enter as 42-hour custom or 96-hour custom in textbox label "Other")
  •  Fire Department Contracts with Fire Academy
  •  Coordinator Assigned (Senior/Adjunct Instructor)
  •  Consultation/Needs Assessment Performed
  •  Training Plan Designed by the Coordinator
  •  Training Plan Implemented
  •  Continuous Review
What does the Coordinator do?
*  Conducts Needs Assessment (Consultation)
*  Design a Training Plan
*  Implement the Training Plan
*  Review and Analyze on Regular Basis
*  Adjust Accordingly
Implementing the Training Plan:
  •  Schedule Training
  •  Schedule Instructors
  •  Secure Resources
  •  Report to Fire Academy Administrators
  •  Provide Training Reports
 Costs: 
> 42 Hour Program  .........   $1,400.00
 
> 96 Hour Program   .........  $2,100.00
                *  3-hours/night
*   8-hours/day (weekends)
